Shyne Remains in Prison

Shyne (born Jamal Barrow) was scheduled to be released from prison Tuesday, October 6, after serving nine years out of a 10-year sentence, but his release has been placed on hold pending a review of his immigration status. The former Bad Boy rapper, who was jailed in the 1999 shooting incident which involved Diddy and Jennifer Lopez, has been released from prison, but he could be deported to his native Belize.

If Shyne does get deported to Belize, he'll receive a royal welcome. His father is the Prime Minister of Belize.

Nas and Kelis File Divorce Papers

Kelis and Nas

Nas and Kelis have signed and filed their official divorce papers yesterday after a month of public speculation over the couples marital status. Not that it’s really a matter of public interest but the couple have split up over unknown reasons.

Though it is known that they had years of hard life on the road touring around the country, busy schedules and public demands. Kelis is now seven months pregnant with the couples first baby boy. The two met at an after party hosted by Diddy in 2003. After dating for two years they married in 2005 and seemed like the perfect couple. Just recently Nas announced a contest to name his baby boy. The winner would receive a cash prize.
