Regardless of the subject matter, a person can recognize a quality design and build when they see one. You don’t have to be an expert to appreciate fine craftsmanship…. All you need is about $900,000 and you can appreciate it all you want! The Arena Metasonic timepiece by Gerald Genta, holds up to true horology maintaining eloquent engineering and tradition in watchmaking. Just to give you a sense of the quality and complexity involved when the craftsmen at Gerald Genta create one of their signature timepieces; since the company opened their doors in 1994, they have turned out 61 timepieces. No, not 61 different models, but literally, in 15 years they have made 61 timepieces for customers.

The most memorable performance at the 2009 BET Hip-Hop Awards did not take place on a stage with bright lights and bootylicious dancers. It happened right outside the venue, and all the performers needed was a microphone, a DJ, and a crowd. Yes, I'm talking about The Cypher. The bit with Eminem, Black Thought, and Mos Def was the best. (Watch the Cypher spots here)

The Sweet Lyfe Blog had the chance to speak with the CEO of a company who I feel is on the verge of breaking some barriers after all that they have been through and the visions to come; I can’t wait to see the global response for these hard working young ladies. This Queen is about to take over the rap game. She says she's not just another "Rap Bitch" and the streets are believing it. Hailing out of New Orleans 3rd Ward, here's a track off of Na'Tee's next album called "I Don't Love Em". If you want more of her work, you can download Heavy Is The Head That Wears The Crown. This is your warning about that mix tape: There's no comparing her to these other female rappers, she has her own flow style, and her bars my have you in a hospital bed.
