Saints Fan Reactions During the Game

frenchquarter 0141Penny Cheramie and T-Man, both of Larose, cheer from their seats at Deanie's Seafood Restaurant in the French Quarter as the Saints scored their first touchdown on Sunday.
Generosity abounded in the French Quarter during the first half of tonight's New Orleans Saints game. As Kenneth "Zulu" Breaux arrived at the corner of Bourbon and Iberville streets via his wheelchair, with his "who dat" dog as his best friend, named "Pappa Joe," aboard for a ride, he was graciously given a Reggie Bush jersey by Michael Dugas of Westwego.
"Daddy's getting a brand new shirt," Breaux cried to Pappa Joe. "Awe, I can't believe this. This is so nice. And it fits me perfect."
Breaux, a resident of N. Miro street in new Orleans, is a local artist. He said he paints "oils, murals, who dats and all of that!"
Troy Rosamond of Jefferson has been a saints fan since 1967. He was standing outside Deanie's Restaurant in the French Quarter for kickoff of the NFC championship game.
"I had to be here with my homies," Rosamond said. "I had to be here for the celebration."

Tae:
What is Bout Dad Money Music and how do you stand out from being another run of the mill producer?

BDMM:
Bout Dat Money Music a production company founded by me, LCD.  What sets me apart from these other cats is the broad range of things I can accomplish musically. I have a signature sound but I also can make almost any kind/style of track. I’m also a songwriter and engineer, so I really don’t have to leave home for anything.

Tae:
What inspired you to become a producer?

BDMM:
I grew up in a musical family… starting taking piano lessons at age 4, also took saxophone lessons for a while. My father’s been composing music on the piano for as far back as I can remember and my younger brother’s in school for music production and engineering as well. Original Phantom II NBA Pack

adidas originals phantom ii nba pack 1 adidas Originals Phantom II NBA Pack
Various images of this special pack from adidas Originals have been circulating online, but here’s the official full overview of this hot topic. Continuing in the tradition reinterpreting classic silhouettes with modern touches, adidas Originals has released a limited edition drop of 6 treatments of the Phantom II celebrating 6 legendary NBA franchises. Each piece in the pack utilizes an impactful all-over color story on the mixed material upper and features basketball textured leather. There is a woven team logo on the tongue of each shoe and the team’s name is prominently labeled on the heel. The shoes are available in very limited quantities at select US retailers in each of the represented cities. This is a classic 90’s basketball throwback done with class and finesse and is only a hint at the basketball heat that Originals has dropping this season.

New Years Resolutions for 10 Rappers

With the excitement of a new year is in the air and the calendar flipped to 2010, now is the perfect time to look ahead and set some goals for the future. I attempt to get into the head of 10 rappers and make some hypothetical New Year resolutions.

Lil Wayne
I resolve to put down the Styrofoam cup just long enough to focus on that masterpiece bubbling inside me. (In return, we, your fans, will pretend that Rebirth never happened)

50 Cent
I, Curtis Jackson, hereby resolve to make myself relevant again without resorting to petty beefs or formulaic rap records. I also resolve to leave other people's family (especially kids) out of my petty beefs.

Trick Trick
I, Christian Mathis, resolve to respect people regardless of race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

Kanye West
I, Kanye West, hereby resolve to say "goosfraba" five times next time I get the urge to interrupt an award ceremony.

Big Boi
I, Antwan, do resolve to find Andre 3000 and lock him up in the studio until we both have two albums worth of material in the can.

Nicki Minaj
I resolve to slowly but surely develop an identity that's not eerily similar to Lil Kim's. I will also expand my lyrical scope beyond the length of a teaspoon.

Charles Hamilton
I resolve to stop shooting myself in the foot. Also, I will no longer make claims that are impossible to verify, like the one about having a paranormal working relationship with J Dilla.

T.I.
I hereby resolve to look the other way next time I come across a busload of machine guns, no matter how catchy the price.

Nas
I resolve to ignore everyone who says that I'm incapable of crafting another Illmatic. I will remind them that "it's always forward I'm moving. Never backwards, stupid." I will then back this up by making another classic.

Gucci Mane
I resolve to hire a speech therapist at some point this year.

Michael Jackson "This Is It" PS3 Bundle

If you've been holding out to buy a PS3 until, well, whenever, now might be the time to run out and pick one up . . . if you live in Japan that is. Sony announced today that they'll be releasing a limited edition PS3 Slim bundle that comes packed with the Blu-ray release of Michael Jackson's This Is It to commemorate the King of Pop. Priced at around $365, the pack will hit shelves on January 27 and come with a 120GB PS3, all the standard fixins (DualShock 3 controller and cables), along with some bonus Michael Jackson wallpapers.

If you're an MJ fan and a gaming geek, then this would be the ultimate gift. Unfortunately, Japan wins again, since there's no word of this bundle hitting stateside.

Crashed Hard Drive - A.Levy (Mixtape Download)

In an era where most rappers talk about wanting "Money, Cars, Clothes and Hoes" New Orleans own, born and bred, A.Levy dared to be different.  A.
